Next Time You Forget Your Jacket & Its Freezing
List a bunch of random things associated with heat in your head. Preferably things you have memorable experiences with (I think tea, blankets, heating lamps, tequila). Remembering a series of detailed moments where you were dying of heat work best (i.e. that one time you first tried hot yoga and then they told you to to go downward and HOLD IT and you thought omg it must be so painful to be a dog i will faint right now I swear to god). Try and relive those moments, hash out all the details. You might not be able to think of anything at first, but just keep going, your brain will catch up and love it I promise you it was made for things like this. And that’s it! You’ll start feeling warmer.
This is because our brain is a superb associative network. You might think you love Catch Phrase, Charades, Pictionary, etc. etc. but your brain loves it way more. Take advantage of its Achilles Heel next time you’re feeling cold. Try it out. Let me know how it works out for you and if you break any necks with your superhuman self-heating.
